It was during his university studies that he sensed God's call to the preaching ministry and so spent all his spare time and money in his undergraduate days acquiring the necessary tools for ministry and serving the Lord in the local church and at the university.

Conrad has been a pastor at the Kabwata Baptist Church since 1987 - a church he had helped to plant during his university days. The church is presently overseeing the establishment of 10 new Reformed Baptist churches in Zambia and Botswana. Conrad travels extensively, preaching in Southern Africa and has also preached a number of times in Canada, the USA, Brazil, the UK and Singapore.

He is the editor of the Reformation Zambia magazine. He also writes three columns in two weekly national newspapers, two of which he has been writing for the last fifteen years. He has contributed chapters to a number of books published in the USA, the latest Dear Timothy -  Letters on Pastoral Ministry, published by Founders Press.

Conrad is also the principal of the Reformed Baptist Preachers College in Zambia.

Conrad joined Zambia YMCA in 1995 and has held various leadership positions at local, national and project levels. He has held the position of National President since October 2007.
